Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks an Operations Manager for the UI-TOS group. You will lead Traffic and Open Space operations, directing safety, engineering, and maintenance activities while supervising a team of facility staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to Conduct of Operations and participating in the UI Duty Officer program for after-hours coverage. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive leadership experience in operations management, with a strong focus on

Qualifications

Operations Management: implement Conduct of Operations (or similar) including fact findings, root cause analysis, lessons learned.
Maintenance Operations: read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics; understand systems design and maintenance.
Leadership: manage, mentor and supervise employees; drive collaboration and performance.

Responsibilities

Lead UI-TOS Traffic and Open Space operations including safety, engineering, and maintenance functions.
Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations of roadways, parking, signs, lighting, and drainage in Traffic operations; manage Open Space landscaping and facilities.
Manage facility supervisor team and participate in UI Duty Officer program for after-hours operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable directives and LANL policies.
