Job summary

ATI is seeking a Manager, Operations in Cudahy, WI to lead the Physical Test, Product Certification, and onsite Shipping functions. You will drive safety-focused operations, align testing with production needs, and guide teams through complex workflows in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes people leadership, planning, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement to deliver customer-ready output while strengthening safety, quality, and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading salary and hourly union staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead with safety as the top priority and foster an engaged, accountable workforce.
• Oversee destructive/physical testing, certification, and release activities for forged products.
• Coordinate testing priorities with production and shipping to meet customer commitments.
• Ensure timely product release by monitoring test results and documentation.
• Manage staffing, performance, and development across multiple teams.
• Oversee end-to-end flow of test material from manufacture to shipment.
• Partner with Production and other locations to set testing priorities and resolve constraints.
• Collaborate with Shipping to align testing, certification, and ship-room activities with shipments.
• Monitor performance and remove barriers impacting release, throughput, or quality.
• Plan workforce, equipment, and capital resources for current and future needs.
• Drive continuous improvement across quality, productivity, cost, and lead times.
• Support audits and maintain standards in an accredited environment.
• Lead organizational change with clear priorities and accountable execution.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships to improve execution and customer responsiveness.
