Job summary

ATI Forged Products Cudahy Operations seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee destructive testing activities required for part release. The NADCAP MTL certified captive lab performs a variety of tests and certifies products for shipment.

The role also manages the certification team and on-site shipping. Responsibilities include safety leadership, planning resources, driving improvements in quality and productivity, and coordinating with production across sites to prioritize testing

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
10+ years of manufacturing experience with focus on supply chain, operations or engineering.
Managing salary and hourly union staff preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide and maintain a safe work environment through continuous improvement and accountability at every level.
Plan, coordinate, and establish resources required to exceed business needs of the physical test operations.
Deliver improvements in quality, productivity, cost, lead time and equipment reliability.
Manage day-to-day activities of salary and hourly teams to deliver operational needs, including order release and testing line up.
Coordinate with production and Forged Products sites to prioritize testing workflow and meet customer schedules.
Lead continuous improvement activities and organizational change while promoting ATI values.
