Job summary

UC Irvine's Student Housing department is seeking an experienced administrative professional to manage operations, plan strategically, supervise staff, and support the Housing Administrative Services (HAS) leadership. You will handle data entry, workflow, and project management to ensure housing information and student accounts counseling are delivered effectively.

Under the Senior Director of HAS, you will oversee undergraduate applications, contract assignments, and facilities maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
• 5-8 years experience in higher ed administration
• Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, manage, and evaluate staff
• Ability to interact with all levels of the University community
• Strong planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service
• Ability to conceptualize, organize, and direct projects
• Skill to use discretion and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan and administer the operations of Student Housing.
• Supervise staff and provide direction for administrative operations within HAS.
• Oversee undergraduate application and contract assignment area, dissemination of Housing information, customer service, student housing accounts counseling, executive administrative support, general administrative analysis, and HAS facilities maintenance.
