Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a data and administrative support for the Undergraduate Student Housing Residential Services team. The role focuses on data and resource management, project coordination, and maintaining efficient office procedures.

You will assist with onboarding of new housing management software, collect and organize data, and prepare memos, reports, and presentations while ensuring professional customer service and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects, completing detailed tasks independently, and working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new software and troubleshoot basic system issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint; ability to maintain organized electronic and hard-copy files.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, diplomacy, and effective working relationships with a diverse campus community.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Undergraduate Student Housing Residential Services team with data management, resource management, and project coordination.
• Assist the Director of Residential Services with the implementation and onboarding of new housing management software.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain data, records, electronic files, and office procedures.
• Prepare memos, letters, reports, presentations, and other administrative materials using standard business formats.
• Provide professional customer service and collaborate with students, student staff, faculty, staff, and campus visitors while maintaining confidentiality.
