Amrize is seeking an Operations Manager in Michigan to lead and optimize regional operations, focusing on productivity, efficiency, customer service, and employee retention. The role emphasizes strategic execution and cross-functional collaboration to meet business goals.

The candidate will work in Dundee Office MI, traveling frequently within the region to coordinate with sites and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years of equivalent experience is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of study: Operations Management, Business, Civil or mechanical engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and oversight to managers to ensure objectives are met.
• Supports the region in achieving P&L targets and coordinates resource sharing.
• Participates in the preparation of operating budgets.
• Monitors cost drivers, capacity, inventory, and cost reports to drive improvements.
• Creates and enforces a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and reduce turnaround times.
• Analyzes KPIs to develop productivity improvements and recommendations.
• Collaborates with management to address customer service, union, and fleet concerns.
• Motivates teams and builds effective collaboration across departments.
• Ensures health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to in all work environments.
