Satellite Shelters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to partner with the Branch Manager in supervising local scheduling and real-time operations, with a focus on maximizing resources and meeting budget goals.

The role emphasizes safety, efficient workflow, and technology integration with NAV, while coordinating deliveries, stock, and vendor relationships to support customer satisfaction and service quality.

Qualifications

BS/BA in related field and 3-5 years safety and operations management experience.
Previous supervisory experience as a fleet manager or in service/rental/construction-based environment.
Experience working with CRM and operations programs.
Knowledge of modular buildings is helpful but not required.
Experience working in a customer service-based environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities of yard supervisors, workers and drivers.
Delegate duties such as material stock, yard upkeep and cleanliness.
Coordinate scheduling of deliveries, pickups, and multi-sectional set-ups.
Ensure standards for cleaning, repair, and refurbishment of each unit.
Manage purchasing and expenses for yard and equipment.
Develop and build relationships with vendors; manage pricing structures.
Recruit and evaluate vendors/contractors for work outside Satellite's capabilities.
Maintain stock and oversee yard operations and safety compliance.
Implement safety procedures and training; report incidents and root causes.
