Job summary

Thales is seeking an Operations Manager in Overland Park to serve as a senior operational leader driving process improvement, efficiency, and performance initiatives across cross-functional environments.

You will lead complex initiatives, analyze data, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain to align priorities, improve processes, and support enterprise transformation. Strong governance and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional operational projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and business systems (ERP/CRM).
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Kaizen methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional operational improvement initiatives to enhance performance and mitigate risks.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to develop actionable recommendations for strategic planning.
• Drive process optimization projects from requirements gathering through implementation and assessment.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to align priorities and execute enterprise initiatives.
• Develop operational reporting dashboards and executive presentations communicating performance and insights.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
