Job summary

Amazon in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff, drive safety, quality, attendance and performance, and deliver on customer delivery promises.

You will use data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration to improve productivity and efficiency, manage multiple workflows (First mile, Middle mile, Last mile), and mentor others while supporting site and regional goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts
