Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts seeks an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while driving productivity through data-driven decisions.

You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to meet business objectives, supporting customer delivery promises across First/Middle/Last mile operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees.
• Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
