Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, driving safety, quality, attendance and performance. You will develop a high-performing team, deliver results through data-driven decisions, and collaborate with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals.

Expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment across first, middle, and last mile operations. You will navigate shift flexibility, lead improvement projects, and mentor a diverse workforce, with an emphasis

Qualifications

3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
Work in variable temperatures and weather at delivery stations.
