Job summary

Amazon in Salem, Oregon seeks an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly colleagues, driving safety, quality, attendance, and performance through data-driven decisions. You will develop staff, balance workloads, and deliver on customer expectations across the three-mile workflow.

Responsibilities include mentoring teams, leading site and regional projects, and partnering with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Work in variable temperatures and outdoor loading areas.
• Assist with stairs in sites where applicable.
