Job summary

Lumbermen’s is expanding with a temporary Warren location to build a permanent Youngstown facility. The Operations Manager will lead our warehouse team, collaborating with suppliers, customers, and the sales team to deliver material solutions while developing a high-performing workforce.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of management in distribution/retail, a business-management degree, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-7 years of management experience.
• Degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
• Distribution or retail experience is strongly desired, building materials experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Youngstown and Warren division warehouse teams.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop an exceptional team.
• Set operational goals and track progress to meet them.
• Manage divisional P&L and drive efficiency and revenue growth.
• Ensure safety and OSHA/DOT compliance and oversee fleet maintenance.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement culture across operations.
