Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Operations Manager II to lead location operations across teams handling up to 131–370 truck units.

You will supervise Supervisors, Technicians-In-Charge, and Customer Service Coordinators to meet labor, safety, and performance targets. You will oversee labor planning, scheduling, and performance management while ensuring compliance with company processes, safety standards, and service commitments.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three+ years in an operations environment or Ryder role.
• One to Two+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute work analysis, vehicle planning and scheduling, and assign work to technicians.
• Lead labor planning, shift optimization, and productivity improvement.
• Manage customer relations, uptime, and service quality.
• Oversee budget, P&L, cost control and maintenance initiatives.
