Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager II for Mount Pleasant, TN to oversee shop operations serving 131–370 trucks. You lead staff, plan labor, and drive performance against safety, quality and cost targets. A development path toward Senior Operations Manager is available.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• 3+ years in an operations environment or Ryder-equivalent role.
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and staff to meet location objectives.
• Manage labor planning, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Monitor KPIs, safety, quality and cost controls.
• Coordinate with sales and customers to ensure uptime and service levels.
• Develop talent through training and succession planning.
