Aptive Pest Control in the Chicago area is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the service center, drive retention, optimize staffing, and oversee payroll and inventory. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork and individual accountability in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of management experience and a related degree, with a strong grasp of P&L and staffing planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer retention, employee retention, and service center EBITDA.
• Balance labor utilization with production to optimize efficiency.
• Manage inventory and fleet within the service center.
• Direct hiring activities to ensure proper staffing and coordinate with recruiting lead.
• Manage payroll for Service Professionals and Supervisors.
• Set a clear vision and expectations for the work group.
• Achieve high operational efficiency and effective labor management.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Manager and CI to ensure safe, efficient service delivery.
• Execute improvement plans and report progress.
• Maintain a cohesive, service-oriented team and meet KPI standards.
• Collaborate with talent team for hiring needs.
• Create a learning and growth environment for Service Professionals.
• Set and manage goals with supervisors and staff to improve performance using dashboards.
• Review performance metrics with the Regional Manager.
• Teach communication, sales training, and ensure understanding of sales processes.
• Coordinate with Training and local leadership to deliver training.
• Deliver excellent customer service to potential and existing customers.
