Operations/Project Manager

About the job:

Our client is seeking a proactive, results-driven Operations/Project Manager to oversee internal projects, client delivery, and team coordination, ensuring smooth operations.

If you are a natural leader who thrives on structure, maintains focus on deadlines, communication, and task completion, this role is ideal. The focus is on client service and business growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Meet daily with the owner for the first 30 days to align priorities and strategies.
  2. Participate in weekly or as-needed meetings with the team for coordination.
  3. Manage daily project operations across departments to keep tasks progressing.
  4. Develop and oversee project timelines, task assignments, and check-ins using tools like Monday, Asana, Trello, or ClickUp.
  5. Coordinate with leadership and vendors to meet goals on time and within scope.
  6. Monitor deliverables and deadlines across programs.
  7. Prepare weekly status reports, dashboards, and meeting summaries.
  8. Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
  9. Ensure team accountability through consistent follow-up, maintaining assertiveness as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in operations, project management, or business administration.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, Monday.com).
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience managing multiple platforms.
  • Strong communication skills suited for remote, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work closely with founders/CEOs and adapt priorities.
  • Bonus: Experience in government contracting, digital education, or small business sectors.
