We believe the open-source Diem technology we have developed is an important foundation of a safe and scalable web3 world where everyone has more equitable opportunities to grow and access financial assets with lower fees and fewer intermediaries.

Aptos (Ohlone for "The People") encompasses our mission and ethos for why we build.

We are looking for a self-driven and dynamic Operations Manager to joinAptos Foundation. This individual will work directly with the Head of Treasury and Operations to lead, optimize, and scale core operational functions across the organization. This is a visible, hands-on role at the center of everything we do - working closely with the ecosystem, business development, marketing, finance, people, and legal teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operational Excellence: Drive efforts for operational efficiency and scalability across the organization, including cross functional collaboration with key functions.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Map and analyze back-office workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement automation solutions to reduce friction and manual work.
  • Execution Efficiency: Align operational efforts to drive timely and thoughtful execution of key initiatives that enhance ecosystem growth, partnership development and community engagement.
  • Compliance Management: Support compliance efforts, including management of policies and procedures that help to reduce risk for the organization.
  • Organizational Planning & Reporting: Assist the Head of Treasury and Operations with organizational planning, including the management of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and preparation of Board materials.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Collect and analyze network and performance data to build dashboard and reporting that enables leadership decision-making and ongoing tracking of progress.
  • Ad Hoc & Special Projects: Tackle emerging needs like new-tool rollouts, providing end-to-end project management.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Embrace flexibility and agility, taking on emerging responsibilities as the organization grows.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 3+ years in operations or program management, ideally in Web3, blockchain, or a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Self-Driven: Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of initiatives.
  • Analytical: Skilled in data analysis and using insights to inform operational decisions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with leadership, individual contributors, and partner.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High EQ with demonstrated sound judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving instincts.
  • Execution-Oriented: Thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • 100% insurance premium coverage for medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents (US Employees)
  • Equipment of your choice
  • Flexible vacation time, 11 holidays, and floating company days off
  • Equity (RSUs) (US employees)
  • 401k matching (US Employees)
  • Fun and inclusive in-person and digital events

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
