$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

School Facility Services Operations Manager

The SFS Operations Manager will work closely with Tech Painting’s Sales & Estimators and is responsible for the profitability and productivity of the commercial painting division. He/She will establish and maintain performance standards and ensure that each contract is smoothly executed.

Responsibilities:

Schedule painting and construction projects

Identify and order long-lead items

Create job forms as needed

Assign team members to projects

Monitor job progress and oversee quality control

Conduct walk-throughs and follow-up visits with customers

Assist Sales team with estimating and sales as needed

Track material usage and labor rates

Work with HR to oversee staff, identify training needs/safety issues

Requirements:

Previous operations and/or management experience

Superb time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish speaking helpful but not required)

Experience managing multiple projects and multiple crews

Customer relations skills

Ability to travel within the mid-Atlantic region as needed

Ability to read and understand drawings

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; as well experience with applications, smart phones, and other technology

OSHA & CPR training (preferred)

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record and background check

Legal to work in the United States
