Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. offers a 12-month Operations Management Trainee program designed for candidates with limited or no LTL or transportation operations experience. The program blends hands-on dock work with formal leadership training, CDL and forklift certification, and rotations across core operations functions.

Successful trainees will gain broad exposure to field operations and will be prepared for frontline leadership roles upon program completion, with relocation within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
• High stamina, adaptability and grit for day-to-day leadership situations.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform in a physically demanding dock environment alongside frontline teams.
• Participate in a 12-month Operations Management Trainee rotation across field operations, linehaul, maintenance and support.
• Complete CDL school and forklift certification during the program.
• Learn foundational job functions and leadership skills for progression to frontline leadership.
• Engage with program manager, mentor and supervisors, reporting progress and milestones.
• Support daily operations and meet weekly goals and learning objectives.
