Job summary

JBS USA invites applications for the 2027 Operations Management Trainee program in Grand Island, NE. A 12-month immersive track offers hands-on rotations across all production sectors to build leadership and a thorough understanding of how each area supports the facility's production strategy.

Participants will work with the operations team, contribute to continuous improvement, and may rotate between harvest and fabrication floors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Willingness to relocate and work different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across all production sectors to gain hands-on knowledge of positions, equipment, and materials.
• Support the operations team and assist on harvest or fabrication floors.
• Maintain food safety and quality while driving continuous improvement and meeting customer expectations.
• Identify bottlenecks, ensure resources are available to maintain schedules, and work toward safety, quality, cost, and customer service goals.
• Shadow production supervisors and learn day-to-day operations.
• Complete KPI-driven projects with impact, and participate in leadership development sessions.
