Job summary

POOLCORP invites applicants to join the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program based in our Lees Summit, MO distribution center. It’s an entry‑level, hands‑on training with six months of guidance to learn the swimming pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution industry, culminating in supervisor roles nationwide.

Training is on-site with relocation assistance after completion. The program includes classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX focusing on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 2.5 GPA minimum.
• Leadership or problem-solving work experience required.
• In lieu of experience, internships or clubs in distribution or supply chain acceptable.
• Willingness to relocate during/after program (company paid).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe and learn standard procedures and performance targets.
• Shadow contractors, service teams, and customers to understand the business.
