Job summary

POOLCORP invites dedicated individuals to join its Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program, an entry-level, hands-on training track based in a distribution warehouse. The six-month program provides guided learning across operations, purchasing, and management with company support for relocation after training.

Graduates may advance to Operations Supervisor or Manager roles across locations, with the program emphasizing leadership development, customer service, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership and/or problem-solving experience required; internships in distribution or supply chain can be considered.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program at company expense; travel up to 25%.
• Ability to operate in a distribution warehouse environment and learn inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management, and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and retail customers to learn the pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
• Participate in classroom training on operations, leadership, and operating systems at EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management upon completing the MIT program.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
