Southwestern Freight Lines is seeking a Management Trainee for its Operations Management Trainee Program in the United States. The role features a 16-week intensive training designed to prepare you for an initial leadership role in operations.

Under a mentor, you will learn the basics of the transportation industry, efficient cross-dock operations, and effective leadership communication. You may relocate after program completion to another facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics, or 2+ years of related work experience.
• Acceptable driving history per company standards.
• Flexibility with relocation as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 16-week Operations Management Trainee Program.
• Learn transportation industry basics, cross-dock operations, and leadership communication.
• Relocate to another facility for a leadership role after program completion.
• Observe and accompany Account Manager on sales calls and drivers on routes.
