Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines seeks a Management Trainee to join its Operations Management Trainee Program. This entry-level role provides a 16-week training plan to prepare you for leadership in operations, with mentorship and hands-on exposure to cross-dock operations and effective leadership communication.

Completion requires relocation to another facility for your first leadership role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics or at least two years of related experience is expected,

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics or 2+ years related work experience.
• Acceptable driving history.
• Willingness to relocate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 16-week Leadership/Operations Trainee Program to learn core industry principles.
• Interface with Support Center and Service Center teams on program tasks.
• Accompany Account Manager during customer sales calls.
• Join drivers on local delivery routes to understand the freight delivery process.
