Ryder is seeking candidates for an Operations Management Trainee (OMT) in Stockton, CA. This 18–24 month program develops leadership and operational knowledge across teams to support customer retention and operational excellence, with relocation required and mentorship from managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution is preferred.
• Strong PC knowledge including spreadsheets and word processing; advanced skills.
• Basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer relationship activities with quality interface and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental department to maximize utilization of leases.
• Partner with Sales for new business and customer satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads; ensure policies are followed to optimize costs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing for customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate PM scheduling, follow-up, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; oversee technician planning.
