Job summary

Ryder is seeking an Operations Management Trainee in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The 18–24 month training program builds leadership and operational knowledge, with mentorship and cross‑functional exposure to customer retention, processes and performance metrics.

You’ll relocate within the business unit as needed and begin a stable career with a World‑Class, Fortune 500 company. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of customer service experience, plus strong PC skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year+ customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
• Proficient PC skills including spreadsheet and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer interface and proactive management to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental dept to maximize utilization without affecting lease customers.
• Partner with Sales on customer calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads and ensure policies are followed.
