Job summary

RRD is offering an Associate - Operations-Leadership program, a full-time, entry-level role with a twelve-month training track to prepare you for an operational leadership position in one of our manufacturing facilities across the United States. The cohort-based program starts in February 2027 in Manchester, CT.

The role involves learning rotations through core plant functions, shadowing and assuming responsibilities during rotations, supporting Plant Leaders, and engaging in plant meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, IT, marketing, finance or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Prior internship in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of the printing process is a plus.
• Motivated to succeed and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of basic business practices and strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn six core plant functions: manufacturing, logistics, operations, administration, human resources, and finance.
• Shadow position-specific roles during rotations and perform in those roles.
• Assist Plant Leaders in daily facility operations as learning opportunities arise.
• Attend internal and external plant meetings.
• Read publications about the print and manufacturing industries to broaden understanding.
