Job summary

Cencora in Amityville, NY is seeking an Operations Intern to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world, business-driven environment within our distribution centers during a 10-week summer program. You’ll work closely with a mentor and gain exposure to different business areas and functions.

You will collaborate with teams, learn to analyze supply chain metrics, and report findings to leadership while supporting workload planning across shifts.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, and Business Management
• Graduate with bachelor’s degree within one year of internship completion
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines
• Interact with hourly team members, associate peers and senior leadership
• Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes
• Report findings to team members and management as required
• Organize and facilitate work team meetings and manage department workload during internship rotations
