Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Intern position within our Supply Chain Facility in Savannah. This paid internship runs 40 hours per week and provides hands-on leadership training to prepare for an operations management role.

You will work closely with managers and peers to learn how Target’s supply chain operates, gain problem-solving experience, and develop skills in daily operations, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team and coordinating daily priorities.
• Interest in retail and supply chain operations.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Must be a student currently enrolled in college/university.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the floor and align daily priorities.
• Help manage daily goals and shift plans.
• Support safety, quality and productivity audits.
• Participate in daily planning and leadership meetings.
• Learn Target's CI methods and lean principles.
• Collaborate with leaders to mentor team members.
