Job summary

Target’s Supply Chain Operations Internship offers a paid 40 hr/week program designed to develop operations leadership in a real-world facility. As an Operations Intern, you’ll lead and support daily operations, learn to motivate a team, and may step into a department under a mentor’s guidance to gain hands-on experience managing throughput and safety.

This internship emphasizes problem solving, lean methods, and collaboration across IT and operations, with training, feedback, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our supply chain facilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the facilities floor helping to lead amongst team members and aligning the team in daily business priorities.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality/inventory accuracy through standardization of processes.
• Tracking KPIs such as safety, teamwork, quality and productivity to identify gaps and drive actions.
