Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen seeks an Operations Supervisor in Wilmington, CA to oversee our Vehicle Processing Center, drive improvements, and lead a skilled hourly team ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, building stakeholder relationships, and potentially leading rail operations such as railcar prep, maintenance and loading in a dynamic, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years frontline supervisory/management experience in rail, automotive processing, logistics or related operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Vehicle Processing Center, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Drive process improvements for operational excellence.
• Lead and manage a team of hourly workers to deliver quality and profitable operations.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and OEMs.
• May lead daily rail operations including railcar prep, maintenance, and loading.
