Job summary

Driving Academy in Atlantic City, NJ seeks a General Manager to oversee daily sales, operations, and team development at our training facility. You will drive profitable, safe, and high-quality CDL training delivery while leading a growing team.

The role requires 5+ years in operational leadership, strong communication, and ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts. On-site position with opportunities for performance bonuses and staff growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in operational management or branch leadership.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising staff and daily operational planning.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and CRM tools.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (standing, walking, lifting up to 15 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team schedules, give guidance, and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee facility equipment, vehicles, and supplies; ensure maintenance and readiness for instruction.
• Guide branch sales efforts, handle student inquiries, and refine service processes for satisfaction.
• Manage local vendor contracts, monitor expenditures, and handle supply procurement within budget.
• Track branch KPIs to drive growth, enrollment, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and internal safety standards.
• Foster a culture that retains talent and improves workflows across departments.
