Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a Director of Training & Quality Assurance to oversee the CDL program, ensuring FMCSA compliance and leading the training of Regional Program Directors, Area Managers, and Driver Trainers.

This role collaborates with Admissions and Business Development, sets training standards, and drives safe, profitable CDL programs company-wide. Strong cross-functional leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CDL Class A license and 5+ years CDL driving/training experience.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with CampusVue and Google Suite.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train CDL instructional teams and directors.
• Ensure onboarding courses are completed in the Learning Management System.
• Maintain curriculum consistency across client platforms using CDL SOP and QA SOP.
• Train field on compliance and best practices; schedule visits to improve performance.
• Investigate and address conduct or performance issues with HR collaboration.
• Analyze CDL testing results to identify improvement opportunities and actions.
• Record state regulations and testing options; pursue third-party testing where feasible.
• Ensure training locations have supplies and resources to operate.
