Job summary

Total Sanitation Services, a multi-brand, on-site operations leader, seeks an experienced operations leader to manage the Dispatch team, optimize routing, and own P&L for the Hutto, Texas area. You will drive daily operations, ensure permits and safety compliance, and collaborate with Sales to meet service commitments.

You will mentor supervisors, foster a collaborative team culture, and relentlessly pursue efficiency while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a P&L, people, and operations.
• 5+ years of experience in an operations role, preferably from entry level in an organization
• Experience in a regulated industry meeting compliance standards is mandatory
• Route based industry experience preferred to support understanding of dispatching concepts and logistics
• Strong computer skills and commitment to using available software to improve operating efficiency and decision-making
• Strong people skills, able to set expectations and have them met while maintaining team morale
• Proven ability to problem solve, maintain customer relationships, and earn the respect of your team
• Able and willing to learn quickly
• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
• Efficient time management skills to ensure completion of tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Proven experience mentoring and developing teams and supervisory employees

Responsibilities

• Learn our system and manage the Dispatch team, identifying routing inefficiencies and covering absences.
• Take responsibility for all permitting and ensure permits are valid and renewed without lapses.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety, employment, and commercial vehicle operation regulations.
• Own the P&L for the brand, ensuring profitability targets are met through efficient operational decisions.
• Directly supervise and support the Operations Manager and Yard Operations Manager.
• Provide guidance and support to other supervisory and management staff as appropriate.
• Liaise with Sales team and ensure alignment with customer commitments and service expectations.
• Ensure the quality of service the brand is known for is maintained and customer care is焦 focus.
