Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a salaried and hourly team across multiple shifts in Maryland (Hagerstown). The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer delivery, using data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration to meet business goals.

Responsibilities include mentoring teams, leading large projects, and coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to optimize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels
• Our fulfillment network launches new Operations sites yearly for growth opportunities
