Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. (AFNA) is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the line teams on multiple shifts, driving performance in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency. The role emphasizes coaching, daily/weekly planning, and adherence to GMP and HACCP standards.

The incumbent will manage budgets, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and develop talent within the team, ensuring alignment with site and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree in a STEM field required.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in food industry preferred.
• Willingness to relocate for promotional opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate line teams across shifts to meet performance targets in Safety, Quality, Cost and Efficiency.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with site goals.
• Coach team members to drive accountability and high performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Oversee GMP/HACCP adherence and monitor KPIs.
