Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America is seeking an experienced Operations leader to direct plant performance, safety, quality, and cost management using TPM. This role will develop and sustain a high performing team and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

You will oversee long-range planning, capital projects, operational budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration with AFNA teams to meet strategic goals and deliver reliable production with strong financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) required.
• 8–10 years of experience; at least 5 years in plant/operations leadership of a complex, multi‑line operation.
• Experience with USDA and/or FDA regulated food facilities; strong budgeting and P&L understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership to achieve TPM goals and drive loss reduction.
• Lead long-range planning, capital projects, budgeting and cost control.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across plant operations.
• Coordinate with AFNA functions (planning, QA, engineering, finance, HR) to implement plant strategies.
