Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America seeks an experienced Operations Leader to manage plant performance, safety, and quality. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee budgeting, and guide production strategies aligned with company goals.

The role requires 8–10 years in food operations, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage complex, high-volume production environments. This on-site position offers opportunities for development and collaboration with AFNA across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food facility regulated by USDA and/or FDA is required.
• Strong budgeting and P&L understanding to drive financial performance.
• Proven project management skills with multiple priorities and strong results.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and foster a healthy team culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide TPM leadership to align plant and company goals.
• Oversee long-range planning, budgets, and cost-reduction programs.
• Lead safety, quality, and production across multiple lines and shifts.
• Coordinate with AFNA functions for production planning, engineering, and strategy.
• Prepare reports to executive management and monitor KPIs.
• Support employee development and maintain a positive work environment.
