Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. Oakland plant is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a shift, delivering Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency targets.

You will coach hourly staff, implement daily production plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, quality, and process teams. The role requires 2–4 years in manufacturing leadership, a STEM-focused Associate degree (bachelor preferred), and strong knowledge of GMP/HACCP.

Qualifications

• Basic degree or equivalent with STEM focus; engineering/food science preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing leadership; food industry preferred.
• Experience replacing or substituting a degree will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift line to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency targets.
• Develop and execute daily/weekly/monthly production plans.
• Coach and develop hourly team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure GMP/HACCP compliance and adherence to safety policies.
• Monitor KPIs and drive actions to reduce waste and improve performance.
