Job summary

United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider. This role supports the Branch Manager to achieve financial objectives, ensures policy compliance, and drives branch performance.

You will handle sales, customer service, and operational processes while coaching staff and promoting a culture of safety. The position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 3+ years in sales/operations, and 2+ years in supervision, with strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years of supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts in line with policies.
• Maximize efficiency by training staff and controlling costs.
• May handle day-to-day operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety culture through leadership and accountability.
• Other duties as needed.
