Job summary
United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate and direct delivery of quality service, maximize branch productivity, and ensure safety and policy compliance. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to lead Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff, driving performance and customer-focused outcomes.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sales and operations, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Responsibilities
- Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
- Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
- Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
- Responsible for performance management of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable.
- Motivate, coach and train personnel.
- Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, accountability and communication.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
