United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager to lead branch operations, ensuring safety and world-class service while driving productivity. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to align actions with financial objectives and company policies.

The role requires 3+ years of sales and operational experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office; a high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service and teamwork; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring policy compliance.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Manage performance of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps and Drivers.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety culture through leadership and accountability.
• Perform other duties as needed.
