Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of quality service, drive branch productivity, and ensure safety, policy compliance, and exceptional customer service. You will work with the Branch Manager to implement actions that align with financial objectives and the company’s standards.

The role requires leadership skills, a focus on safety, and strong communication. A High School diploma is required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and 3+ years of sales

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Performance management of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
