Job summary

AMPORTS is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to support daily operations in a safe, efficient, and productive setting. You will help oversee personnel, equipment, and workflow while aligning with leadership, safety, and quality objectives.

Role requires strong communication, training capabilities, and adherence to regulatory and company standards. This non-exempt, hourly position offers standard weekday hours with potential overtime in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in operational, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or industrial environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Understanding of workplace safety requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support daily operations by monitoring workflow, productivity, equipment utilization, and employee performance.
• Coordinate work assignments to meet objectives and customer requirements.
