AMPORTS is seeking a Marine Superintendent to lead teams of longshoremen, mechanics, and checkers at the Baltimore Port Terminal. This part-time role emphasizes safe, efficient operations, vessel planning, and labor coordination to meet schedule goals.

You will maintain compliance with safety protocols, build strong customer and union relationships, and respond to emergencies as needed. Must have 1+ year in the maritime industry and be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in maritime industry.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce standard stevedore operating procedures.
• Oversee longshoremen and ensure safety compliance at the Baltimore Port Terminal.
• Assemble labor for operations and staffing levels.
• Plan vessels’ arrivals, labor organization, and operational setup.
• Supervise safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Discharge and load automobiles timely and accurately.
• Coordinate with ship agents and terminal management for smooth operations.
