Job summary

AMPORTS INC. is seeking a Marine Superintendent to lead teams, ensure safe and efficient port operations at the Baltimore Port Terminal, and coordinate vessel activities and staffing. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety discipline, and clear communication with stakeholders.

The position is part-time with Monday–Friday day shifts. Candidates should have at least 1 year in maritime operations, be able to obtain TWIC, and be prepared to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year maritime industry experience.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce stevedore SOPs.
• Oversee longshoremen and safety compliance at the Baltimore Port Terminal.
• Assemble labor for operations and staffing.
• Plan vessel arrivals and labor organization.
• Coordinate with ship agents and terminal management.
• Maintain relationships with customers, union officials, and account reps.
• Remain on-call for vessel operations and emergencies.
