Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead to support store processes and promote a high-energy selling culture. This role covers opening, closing, training, and task delegation, while maintaining safety and compliance in a warehouse-format store.

The OL will stock, move merchandise, and ensure assets and team members are secure. Responsibilities include coordinating with the ASM on staffing, managing daily workflows, and driving guest satisfaction and sales through effective leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times; work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• The OL performs store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
• Coordinates with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize staffing and meet labor standards.
• Plans and assigns daily/weekly zone workload to deliver on store goals and guest engagement.
• Supports inventory control, safety, and loss prevention to keep the store profitable.
• Drives productivity through training, coaching, planning, and evaluating results.
• Leads briefings and training to improve the customer experience.
• Manages freight processes and stocking, end caps, and housekeeping.
• Performs additional duties as needed by the business.
