Job summary

ABF Freight is seeking an Operations Manager to lead supervisors, dock, street, and yard staff at a California service center. You will work with the Service Center Manager to meet operations and sales goals and grow profitable business.

This role requires overseeing staffing, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree preferred and 3 years supervising terminal operations; proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years supervising inbound, outbound, and city operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor terminal operations with Service Center Manager.
• Hire, schedule, develop/discipline, motivate, and coach supervisors and staff.
• Ensure security, maintenance, and upkeep of terminal facility.
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors and labor relations as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to address issues.
