Job summary

Fairfield University is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations for Graduate & Professional Studies Admissions. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Systems, you will oversee Slate CRM workflows, help run recruitment events, and streamline processes to improve the applicant experience.

This in-person role in Fairfield, CT may include occasional remote work and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years of progressive experience in an admissions department preferred.
• Working knowledge of Slate CRM and data systems in higher education preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities; detail oriented; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Slate CRM database and process applications/documents for graduate and second-degree applicants.
• Perform daily data maintenance tasks and audits; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Train new Slate users and develop training materials; stay updated on CRM best practices.
• Collaborate with recruitment staff on events, forms, surveys, and related communications.
• Assist in maintaining office operations and ensure current program details and tuition information are up to date.
